LONDON Paralympian Craig Rodgie led the Fife team to victory at the National Senior Championships for swimmers with a learning disability.
The Dalgety Bay swim star, part of the Edinburgh University swim squad, was in sparkling form as the Kingdom claimed the crown at Scotstoun.
West of Scotland had won the title for six years in a row but Rodgie amassed a fifth of the points himself as Fife finished on top.
They amassed 304 points - 20 clear at the end - and he picked up 60 himself with wins in the 100m freestyle, 50m butterfly and 50m backstroke.
Rodgie also picked up silver in the 50m breaststroke and 100m Individual Medley.
But he was ably supported by a very strong team performance with individual titles won by Tristan Rankine, John Lockhart, Ian Hutcheson and Kirk Taylor, all from West Fife CSS.
Wayne Sammut, also from West Fife CSS, won four medals from his four swims.
Team Fife were led by managers Neil Freir, from West Fife CSS, and Alistair Terris of Glenrothes High School.
