The 15-year-old Queen Anne High School pupil, a member of the Falkirk Integrated Regional Swim Team, will compete in the Celtic Duel Nations event in Bangor as part of the Dave McCullagh Memorial Meet that brings together a host of Ireland’s top swimmers to compete against some of Scotland’s emerging junior talents.

Pirouet has been selected on the basis of her performances over the course of the season and attendance to national training camps hosted throughout the year. She is looking to consolidate her displays in her preferred freestyle events by drawing on experiences gained from the Scottish Swimming led training camps.

Carnegie Swimming Club’s Lauren Sutherland has also been selected for the competition, which will also see Commonwealth Games medalist Ross Murdoch compete for Stirling University’s performance programme.
