PARS hitman Nicky Clark has been named as the Ladbrokes Championship player of the month for March.
The 26-year-old scooped the sponsors' accolade after bagging seven goals last month, which included trebles against both Brechin City and Queen of the South.
He also netted Athletic's goal in their 1-1 draw at Tannadice against Dundee United during a period in which they lost just once in six games - at leaders and champions-elect St Mirren.
Clark's goal spree has taken his tally for the season to 20 and, after receiving his award at East End Park this afternoon, he said: "I'm delighted to get the hat-tricks and one up at Tannadice as well, so it was a good month for me.
"The last four or five weeks maybe's been great. Obviously personally for me with the goals and getting the award, but as a team we've been excellent.
"We've had a couple of massive results recently and, then on Saturday in the derby I thought every one of us was brilliant."
We'll have more reaction from Clark to his award in Thursday's Press Sport.
