PARS are cutting costs and letting players go due to the recession and failure to get promoted but they haven"t forgotten the fans after freezing season ticket prices for the third year in a row.

Manager Jim McIntyre is working on a 'vastly reduced' budget for next season but the club is also cutting prices for kids and over-60s and reducing the price of a Legends membership to a fiver.

There will be a free season ticket for under-5s – extended from under-3s – and the price for access to Legends for the season has been slashed by over £30.

Fans renewing by 31st May will be entered into an Early Bird prize draw.

Chief executive Bill Hodgins said, 'Given the current financial climate we have chosen to freeze prices again and also give our season ticket holders something extra by adding in the first home cup game (not including the Challenge Cup) absolutely free.

'I can only thank all our season ticket holders for their support over the last few years and can assure the fans that our main priority for next season is to aim for promotion back to the SPL.'

Main stand season tickets are £299 for adults, £180 for 18-21-year-olds, £160 for over-60s and £105 for over-75s.

In the south west, Norrie McCathie and north west stands, the prices are £259 for adults, £150 for 18-21-year-olds, £140 for over-60s and £85 for over-75s.

An adult family ticket is £240, senior £130 and first child under 12 is £50.

Season tickets can be paid over 10 months and existing season ticket holder"s seats will be held until 30th June.

Season tickets go on sale next week, call 0870 300 1201 or email tickets@dafc.co.uk.
