Arabs and Hibees in for friendly fire at East End

PARS will face top SPL sides in pre-season with matches against Dundee United on Tuesday 14th July and Hibs on Saturday 18th July.
Although the match with the Easter Road side was arranged before the surprise departure of Mixu Paatelainen, it still goes ahead.
Jim McIntyre"s men will then visit an old friend when Pars take on Stevie Crawford"s East Fife team at New Bayview on Tuesday 21st July, with a 7.30pm kick-off.
The competitive action gets underway on Saturday 25th July with Pars drawn at home to face Second Division side Arbroath in the Alba Challenge Cup.
There"s another friendly on Wednesday 29th July when English Championship side Coventry City play at East End Park – kick-off 7.30pm – before the league season kicks off on Saturday 1st August.
l Pars fans played the numbers game with mobile phone texts landing the club with £5000.
Supporters took part in the Irn Bru "text to win" promotion, helping the club into second place in the First Division contest – Partick Thistle were first.
Chairman John Yorkston accepted a cheque at the Scottish Football League"s end of season awards ceremony last week.
* Versatile defender Calum Woods, with a handy five goals to his credit too, picked up the club"s player of the year award last week
The 22-year-old, who came through the Liverpool youth academy, has played every position in the back four but has recently excelled at right back.
Woods has made 84 appearances and recently signed an extension to his contract, keeping him at the club until May 2011
Nick Phinn (20) picked up the club"s young player of the year award after a series of fine performances in the Pars midfield, which netted him 10 goals.
He"s been at the club since he was an Under-13 player and was the youngest Par to have started a match in the SPL.
Lee Graham (18) won the youth player of the year award.
The centre half, who captained the Under-19s, draw admiring glances from former Pars great Roy Barry with his uncompromising displays for the reserves.
Lee has been with Dunfermline since signing for the under-15s.
l Greg Ross has signed a new one year contract extension at the Pars while five Under-19 players are also staying on.
Right sided midfielder Paul Willis has signed a two year deal while one year deals have been agreed for centre half Lee Graham, central midfielder Ryan Thomson, striker Jordan White and left back Harry McGregor.
Striker Iain Williamson, who was on loan at Raith Rovers in the latter part of the season, has been released.
