A NUMBER of Pars players including Josh Falkingham (pictured) will be in Cairneyhill tonight (Tuesday) to meet fans and talk about the season so far.

'Dunfermline Athletic at The Maltings' is the first local meeting of the DAFC Supporters' Council which was formed last month.

They're inviting all Pars fans, especially those living in Cairneyhill, Crossford, Crombie and the surrounding area, to attend at 7.30pm.

The meeting will be chaired by Marvyn Stewart with support from Ross McArthur, Donald Adamson and Joe Graham.

A spokesman said, "We hope this will be the first of many similar gatherings, all over Fife and beyond.

"The idea to take Dunfermline Athletic to the fans, as well as bringing the fans into the club and East End Park, was submitted during the Pars United fans' survey and it received support during the fans' Ideas Forum last October.

"After Cairneyhill, the next local meeting will be hosted by Niall Shaw in the Retired Miners' Club at the Moray Institute, Kelty, on Tuesday 22nd April at 7pm.

"The next full supporters' council will be at the end of the season, again in the Kingdom Suite at East End Park." The supporters' council website is http://www.pars-united.com/dafcmembers/
