THE PARS have completed their fifth signing of the summer after confirming the arrival of Stuart Urquhart on a one-year deal.
Press Sport revealed earlier this month that boss Jim Jefferies had taken the 19-year-old defender on trial and the club announced they had secured his services prior to Saturday's win over Airdrieonians.
Urquhart, a left-sided centre back, started his career as a youth player with Hamilton Academical before joining Rangers.
After spending three years at Ibrox, he signed for Steven Pressley's Coventry City in September last year but failed to make a top-team appearance for the Sky Blues.
Urquhart, who a former Scotland under-17 international with eight caps to his credit, will provide competition for Gregor Buchanan, Lewis Martin and Jonathan Page in defence after Kerr Young left the club.
