PUNK greats Stiff Little Fingers are coming back to Dunfermline and tickets went on sale today.

The band were at the Glasgow Barrowlands at the weekend for their 21st annual St Patrick's Day gig with many Fifers making the journey through.

SLF come to the Glen Pavilion on Saturday 4th August for what is a one-off Scottish gig and not part of a tour.

The band were eager to return after the success of their last visit to Dunfermline in 2010 when they played a blistering set at Velocity.

Calum Miller of promoters Weekend Revolution said, "We're absolutely delighted to have Stiff Little Fingers returning as a Scottish exclusive. They always said they wanted to come back to Dunfermline after their great gig last time."

The band are originally from Belfast but front-man Jake Burns now lives in Chicago.
