All-day charity gig at PJs
THE ever-popular charity music event Leroy Day takes place at PJ Molloys this Sunday.
For years the annual gig has been raising for heart charities and was started in memory of Honk guitarist Leroy Bedborough who died at a tragically young age.
Honk will be playing on Sunday in a packed line-up which also includes Hannah Philp, Lipstick Tearaways, Abby Paton, Forever Young, Caravan Club, Bob Smart, The Hilltones, The Kinemas, Baby Isaac, Tak Yon, En Route and Thee Zu.
The event runs from 3pm until 1am with admission £5. Under 18s can attend until 10am.
Organiser Billy George said, "As always this will be a great day for a great cause with some brilliant music throughout."
Also at PJs this weekend there are two top-class tribute bands in action. Friday sees the visit of Kazabian and on Saturday Noasis (right) will arrive with their supersonic performance of the Manc legends' anthems.
