SCOTLAND'S own Twin Atlantic continue on their mission for global domination with thei release of their new album ‘Great Divide’, confirmed for 18th August .
Three years and 300 gigs on from the 100,000 selling debut ‘Free’, Twin Atlantic are ready for the big time and believe their new album with its 12 stadium sized anthems will deliver that.
It is produced by Jacknife Lee (U2,REM), and longtime collaborator Gil Norton (Pixies, Foo Fighters) and pulsating first single ‘Heart and Soul’ will be released next month.
The band are T in the Park favourites and will be back there showcasing their new songs in July.
Recorded during months of festival performances and a sold-out tour, the album reflects the challenges of being on the road and the thrill of performing to tens of thousands of fans each night.
Singer Sam McTrusty said, “90% of 'Great Divide' was written in the back of the tour bus .
"Our adrenaline was through the roof because, for the first time, thousands of people had come to see us. You can’t hear 10,000 people singing a chorus back at you and not be changed by it. "
