MIDLANDS hardcore rockers Lock & Key have been together just five months but have attracted a lot of attention in that short time.

Their debut single ‘So Alone’ has crashed through 100,000 hits on YouTube and they recently signed to the Small Town Records.

Their instant impact has been the result of intense, relentless touring and they come to Scotland this weekend.

Frontman Richard Lardner says, “I know every band says it but we’ve all been through some rough times and our sole aim at every show is trying to get the audience to feel at least a part of the songs. I always hope there’s someone who sees the message within the lyrics.” A message the band has already carried across the UK and mainland Europe alongside names such as Deez Nuts, Devil In Me, Demoraliser, Despite My Deepest Fear, Dead Harts and Broken Teeth.

Lock & Key play The Garage, Glasgow, on Sunday.
