So sad to hear of Mrs Saddlers passing...she was one of my teachers at woodmill as was her husband Sandy, during the sixties...two fabulous and genuine people who are now back together. My sympathies to all the family

I was a pupil of both Pat and Sandy in the sixties and feel very privileged to have known both of them. I am very sorry to about Pat. Whenever I think of her I smile. She was a very fun loving person, and we became friends after our school reunion. I stayed at their house at that time and never stopped laughing.I will miss her newsy letters at Christmas time too. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.She was a lovely lady, well respected as was Sandy. My thoughts are with her family at this time.

Vivienne and Suzanne and families
We were so sorry to hear of your mum’s death.Dave often sat beside her in first year chemistry lectures at Edinburgh University and enjoyed her mischievous sense of humour. Alison knew her from Dunfermline High where your mum was 3 years ahead. We met both your mum and dad at the reunion of the BSc graduating class of 1960, held in Edinburgh in 2000 and at several later reunions. After that, we had a number of visits with your parents at their home when we were back in Dunfermline on holiday.

Please accept my sincerest condolences at this very sad time. Mrs. Saddler was my first register teacher and science teacher at Woodmill school back in 1965. She was wonderful as was Mr. Saddler. A great couple who made their mark on many pupils lives and a tremendous asset to the school. These are memories and sentiments that without doubt are shared by many (Thousands) who were lucky enough to have had the benefit of their knowledge, encouragement, understanding and commitment to their profession.
