WELSH Peacefully at home, after a short illness, on Friday 26th June 2020, Gerry aged 79 years. Beloved husband of the late Sheila, much loved dad of David and Estelle, dear father-in-law of Christine and Ian, also loving grandfather of Natalie, Fraser and Maria. Service at Hillend Cemetery on the 7th July at 11:00am. Due to current restrictions funeral service is private.

A lovely man and a great boss to have with a fantastic sense of humour which he needed to put up with our antics ! All my thoughts to the family.

So sorry to hear of Gerry’s passing. He was my Sgt for a number of years and was a gentleman. We had met up with him before Christmas for a coffee and to reminisce. Our thoughts are with all the family at this sad time. Deepest sympathy from Gary & Lorraine
