(Glen Road and Kingsmuir Drive, Peebles) (Temporary No Waiting) Order 2020
The Scottish Borders Council (Glen Road and Kingsmuir Drive, Peebles) (Temporary
No Waiting) Order 2020 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic
Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration
of 18 months, will come into force at 09:30 on 10 August 2020 and is expected to
remain in effect until 15:30 on 12 August 2020 – 24 hour restriction. The Order
is required for BT Openreach ducting works.
When the Order comes into effect, no person shall permit any vehicle to wait
or to be parked on both sides of the following streets in Peebles:
(a) Glen Road – from Kingsmuir Drive northwards for 50 metres; and
(b) Kingsmuir Drive – from Glen Road southwards for 40 metres.

List of Public Roads
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN in terms of Section 1 (4) the Roads (Scotland) Act
1984 that on or after 4 September 2020, The Scottish Borders Council may
declare that the following lengths of road at Cowford Court, Innerleithen and
footpath have been added to the List of Public Roads:-
DI47-1 Cowford Court, Innerleithen – From its junction with the Traquair Road (B709)
in a southerly direction to terminate in a turning head, a distance of 124 metres
or thereby.
DI401-1 Footpath Link to DI1-1 Buchan Place – From Cowford Court (DI47-1) in
a south westerly direction to join Buchan Place (DI1-1), a distance of 54 metres
or thereby. Overall length 178m or thereby.
The road and footpath are as shown on the adoption plan which may be examined

Any person wishing to object to the above road and footpath being added to the
List of Public Roads should send details of the grounds of objection in writing to
the Chief Legal Officer, The Scottish Borders Council, Council Headquarters,
Newtown St Boswells, Melrose, TD6 0SA by 4 September 2020.
