Do you want your 3 or 4-year-old child to attend a Fife Council Nursery between August 2021 and July 2022?
All three and four-year olds are eligible for funded hours of Early Learning and Childcare. The parents/carers of children who reach the age of 3 on or before 28 February 2022 can apply for a funded place in a Fife Council nursery, or in a private nursery, playgroup or childminder working in partnership with Fife Council. In each area of Fife, we will offer families at least 3 different options of ELC models. Those wishing to make an application to a Fife Council nursery should do so before 31 January 2021. Nursery places are allocated in line with Fife Council's Early Years Admissions Policy. Applications should be made for children due to start nursery at any point in the following academic session - August 2021, January 2022 or April 2022. Applications should be completed online at
