(The Oval, Clarkston) (Temporary Restriction to Use of Road) Order 2021
On the 29 July 2021 the Council made the above named Order under. Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to restrict access to vehicular traffic on The Oval, Clarkston to facilitate the safe operation of essential footway and carriageway resurfacing works proposed to be carried out on or near this road. The works will be phased to minimise the disruption to traffic and are scheduled to be carried out between Monday 6th September and Friday 15th October 2021. The closure will be required only during the contractor's anticipated working hours of Monday to Friday, 0900 to 1600.
Vehicular access to properties within the extents of the closure may be permitted by the contractor on site only when it is possible to do so in conjunction with the works going on at the time. Access for emergency vehicles attending an incident and pedestrians will be maintained at all times.
Alternative Routes: Orchy Avenue -
Stamperland Gardens - Randolph Drive - Randolph Avenue and vice-versa.
