(Edderston Road, Peebles) (Temporary Closing) Order 2017
The Scottish Borders Council have made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force on 16 March 2017 and is expected to remain in effect for a period of one day between the hours of 09:00 and 15:00. The closure is required for patching and carriageway screeding works. When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive, or cause, or permit to be driven any vehicle along Edderston Road, Peebles from Craigerne Lane to Tantah.
There is no alternative route
Pedestrian and cyclist access will be maintained.
The Scottish Borders Council (D67/1 Sware Road, Near Peebles) (Temporary Closing) Order 2017
The Scottish Borders Council have made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force on 17 March 2017 and is
expected to remain in effect until 18 March 2017 between the hours of 09:00 and 15:00 each day. The closure is required for patching and verge works.
When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive, or cause, or permit to be driven any vehicle along the D67/1 at Sware Road, near Peebles.
The alternative route for eastbound traffic is via the D67/1, C10, A72, Tweed Bridge, Caledonian Road, Edderston Road and the D67/1 to the point of closure, for westbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing.
Access will be maintained for cyclists and pedestrians subjectto minor delays.
The Scottish Borders Council (A701 - Newlands Activity Centre) (Temporary No Waiting) Order 2017
The Scottish Borders Council have made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force at 08:00 on 13 March 2017 and is expected to remain in effect until 17:00 on 31 March 2018. The Order is required in the interests of public safety in relation to events taking place in Newlands Activity Centre.
When the Order comes into effect no person shall permit any vehicle to wait or to be parked on the A701 from its junction with the B7059 at Romano Bridge to its junction with the C4 to West Linton, only at such times as appropriate traffic signs are displayed on the affected lengths of road.

The Scottish Borders Council (Disabled Persons' Parking Places) Order 2015 (Amendment No 1) Order 2016
The Scottish Borders Council, on 7 March 2017,in exercise ofthe powers conferred
on them by Sections 32 and 35 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to said Act and having complied with The Local Authorities' Traffic Orders (Procedure) (Scotland) Regulations 1999, made the above Order. The Orderwill come into operation on 13 March 2017. The effect of the Order will be to make it an offence for anyone to park in marked disabled persons' parking places unless they are the holder of a valid disabled
persons'badge.
A copy of the Order as made, with relevant maps, may be inspected at the
