The Scottish Borders Council (Bonnington Road, Peebles) (Temporary Closing) Order 2018
The Scottish Borders Council have made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force on 7 May 2018 and is expected to remain in effect for a period of five days - 24 hour closure. The Order is required for a new BT connection.
When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive, or cause, or permit to be driven any vehicle along Bonnington Road, Peebles from Glensaxto Greystones.
The alternative route for northbound traffic is via Bonnington Road,the D66/1, C10, A72,Tweed Bridge, Springhill Road and Bonnington Road to the point of closure, for southbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing. The Scottish Borders Council have made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force on 10 May 2018 and is expected to remain in effect for a period of two days between the hours of 08:30 and 17:00 each day The Order is required for patching works.
When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive, or cause, or permit to be driven any vehicle along the A701 at Hallow Burn, south of Tweedsmuir.
The alternative route for southbound traffic is via the A701, A72, A702, B7076, B719 and A701 to the point of closure, for northbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing.
