From November 5-9, the week is packed full of events aimed at inspiring and transforming Fife’s business community.

There’s a broad range of seminars and workshops, covering important issues for the local economy and is once again set to be a major highlight of the Kingdom’s business calendar.

It will also provide opportunities for Fife’s businesses to come together to network and exchange ideas.

Winning a Tender with Community Benefits is a valuable workshop as businesses are increasingly being asked to commit to providing community benefits as part of their bid.

This event, at Enterprise Hub Fife on Monday, November 5, will give an introduction and overview to alternative community benefits and how a company can deliver them as part of a tender submission.

While at Fife College’s Rosyth campus on Thursday, November 8, industry experts will share why innovative people and processes deliver increased productivity and helps to overcome barriers to growth, build supply chain resilience and secures success for the Offshore Wind business.

On the digital side of business, Internet Creation will be delivering a workshop on how a business can benefit from its own mobile app in Rosyth on Wednesday, November 7. This session will look at the features, advantages and benefits of mobile apps and why they are important for a business.

Other workshops include harnessing energy, e-learning success and making tax digital. The week of action will focus on key issues that are impacting Fife entrepreneurs, new businesses and employers alike.

Pamela Stevenson, lead officer for economic development and enterprise, Fife Council, said: “The week of workshops and seminars are designed to be suitable for all sectors and businesses whether large or small.

"We hope to encourage and enlighten businesses with fresh insights into workforce development, advanced manufacturing, finance and strategy as well as digital connectivity.

"It is important for businesses to be resilient and remain competitive in an ever-changing economic climate. We hope that the variety of topics on offer will support them on this journey.”
