THE soothing sounds of the Aurea String Quartet come to the Carnegie Hall Studio Annexe at 7.30pm on Sunday.
The ensemble comprises four prize-winning graduates of the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland who have played together since 2011 and recently won the St Martin's Chamber Music Music competition.
Phillip Brett, Rosemary Attree (violins), Christine Anderson (viola) and Abby Hayward (cello) will perform Lajtha's Quartet No.7; Haydn's Op 20 No 3; Webern's Langsame Satz; and Schumann's Op 41 No 3.
