TWO exhibitions revealing the future of the Blairadam project will be shown in Saline and Kelty this week.
Forestry Commission staff will be showcasing the future plans for the forest along with, Partnerships for Renewables, which was appointed in 2010 to investigate the potential for wind energy projects in central and southern Scotland.
Craig Mullen, Communications Manager at Partnerships for Renewables, said, "We have been working closely with FCS staff on a number of projects including Blairadam and appreciate all the forestry related issues including compensatory planting and the future forest design plan.
"These events will give an opportunity for local residents and groups to hear about progress with the Blairadam project as well the potential community investment opportunity and the benefit fund that will be established should the development be consented."
The first exhibition will be held today between 2pm and 8pm at Saline Community Centre and the second on Thursday 23rd May at Kelty Community Centre between 2.30pm and 7.30pm.
