The first heat of the new talent contest 'Make Your Mark' will bring five hopefuls to PJ Molloys tonight.
Taking part are Scott Gilbert, The Mona Lisa’s, Alice and the Rampart Trio, Lyndsay Hurren and Dancing on Tables.
Calum Miller of PJs said, “We had around 50 entrants which is amazing and shows how much young talent there is in Dunfermline and the surrounding areas.” Tonight’s winners will qualify for the semi-finals. Doors open at 7pm and admission is £5.
The overall winning act will record an EP at the Substation, will have a launch gig at PJs and support the headline band at Dunfermline Live. They will also receive full support with promotion, media and have a professional photo session to boost the launch.
The Press is delighted to be media partner for the competition and we will be giving full coverage of the competition over the coming weeks.
