A MAN has been arrested in Dunfermline after police acted on a tip-off and recovered £30,000 worth of cannabis.
Officers carried out a search of a property in Adamson Crescent on Wednesday and seized a number of plants.
A 32-year-old man appeared at Dunfermline Sheriff Court yesterday charged with offences under the Misuse of Drugs Act.
Sergeant Neil McGurk, from Dunfermline’s Community Investigation Unit, said: “I would like to thank the public for coming forward with the information which led to the recovery of these drugs.
“Fife officers are committed to tackling drug crime and removing offenders from our communities and whenever we receive intelligence from our communities we will always investigate thoroughly.
