A DUNFERMLINE man has admitted carrying out an attack which left the victim severely injured.
George Williamson used a bottle to strike another man on the head during the incident.
Williamson, 33, of Kellock Avenue, appeared at the town’s sheriff court on Tuesday.
He admitted that on September 25 at Pilmuir Street, Dunfermline, he assaulted Patrick Devaney.
He seized him by the clothing, pulled him to the ground, repeatedly punched him on the head and body and struck him once on the head with a bottle, all to his severe injury.
Sheriff Craig McSherry called for reports and Williamson will be sentenced on February 14.
