MOTORISTS travelling on a major West Fife road faced delays this morning following an accident caused by the winter weather.
Drivers using the A907 between Dunfermline and Oakley saw their journeys slowed following a two-car accident in Gowkhall.
A Police Scotland spokesman confirmed that the incident, which happened near Dean Ridge, took place at around 7.30am this morning.
Officers received a call after one of the vehicles involved slid on the snow-covered road, and both received front end damage.
Emergency services were present at the scene but the spokesman confirmed that no-one was injured.
