A 12-YEAR-OLD boy has been charged in connection with threatening and abusive behaviour at a Rosyth church.
Police Scotland said the incident took place on Tuesday outside St John and St Columba's RC Church on Admiralty Road.
Complaints had been made after a gang of youths allegedly showered both the priest and parishioners with eggs and "anti-Catholic abuse" as they made their way into Mass that evening.
A report will be submitted to the Children’s Reporter and enquiries are still ongoing.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101 or anonymously through Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
