A DUNFERMLINE man who fell asleep on a takeaway floor in the afternoon has been ordered to do 180 hours of unpaid work.
When a worker at Turkish Pride rang for an ambulance after they couldn't wake Christopher Taylor, he was aggressive towards a paramedic that was trying to help him and threatened to kill police officers.
Taylor, 29, of St Andrews Street, previously admitted on January 25 he did behave in a threatening or abusive manner and did shout, swear and act in an aggressive manner towards a paramedic assisting him and therefore threatened to kill police officers. He also admitted to committed the offence while on bail.
Defence solicitor Alexander Flett told Dunfermline Sheriff Court: "Mr Taylor has significant problems with alcohol and has no recollection of the events.
"He entirely believes that the incident was his fault and it appears that alcohol has been problematic for him. He accepts that he needs to address and control this.
"He is spending more and more time in jail and wishes not to continue down this road."
