A DRINK driver had his vehicle seized after being caught behind the wheel in Rosyth when he was five times over the legal limit.
Jordan Bowman, 22, of Blyth, Northumberland, appeared from custody at Dunfermline Sheriff Court.
He admitted that on April 12 on Hilton Road, Rosyth, he drove after consuming excess alcohol.
His reading was 109 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, the legal limit being 22 microgrammes.
Depute fiscal Azrah Yousaf moved for interim seizure of the Vauxhall Astra, which was granted by Sheriff Derek Reekie.
He called for reports given the “extremely high reading” and Bowman will be sentenced on May 8.
He also had an interim driving ban imposed.
