COMMUTERS have faced delays on West Fife's roads this morning after a breakdown on the Forth Road Bridge caused lengthy congestion.

A breakdown on the southbound carriageway of the bridge just before 6am - which has subsequently been cleared - has created queues and slow traffic on approaches to the bridge.

Drivers on the M90 have been queueing as far back as junction three for Halbeath while motorists travelling through Rosyth on the A985 have been slowed just after Crombie.

Motorists travelling from Dunfermline towards Rosyth on Queensferry Road have also been caught in the congestion, while Traffic Scotland have warned of expected delays.
