A KINCARDINE drug dealer had his home searched and amphetamine worth up to £10,000 was found in his freezer.
Appearing in the dock at Dunfermline Sheriff Court was 53-year-old George McRorie.
McRorie, of Kellywood Crescent, admitted he was concerned in the supply of amphetamine.
Depute fiscal Sarah Lumsden told the court that, at around 6pm, police received information in relation to McRorie being involved in drug-dealing.
Officers on mobile patrol saw McRorie driving a car in Kincardine and stopped him.
A search was carried out and a quantity of cash was found. Police then obtained a warrant to search his home where a quantity of 1.02 kilogrammes of amphetamine was found in the freezer.
“He accepted the drugs belonged to him. He said he had purchased the drugs, used it himself and gave it to friends.”
Defence solicitor Peter Robertson said: “He appreciates this is a most serious matter.”
Sheriff Craig McSherry called for reports and allowed bail. However, he told McRorie: “You shouldn’t imagine the court will not impose a custodial sentence at the end of the day.”
McRorie will return to court for sentencing on November 20. The Crown is seeking confiscation of the cash found during the operation.
