FOUR students from the Allana Brown School of Highland Dancing will take part in The Norwegian Military Tattoo to be held in Oslo.
Kate Crawford, Emma McDonald, Ellie Forrester and Louise Barton all train with teacher Allana at Dunfermline High School and are excited to be able to travel further afield to show off their skills.
Ellie said: “It’s such an honour to get picked for Oslo and getting the opportunity to show our passion for our sport to the rest of the world.
“We have all made so many friends from all over thanks to the Tattoo dance company and it’s such a privilege to perform alongside such a talented group.
“There’s no feeling like dancing in front of thousands of people every night doing what you love and we all can’t wait for the amazing experience we will have in Oslo.”
Before flying to Norway, the girls will compete at the Forth Bridges Festival at Queen Anne High School on Saturday. They will be joined by dancers from all over the UK, from four-year-old beginners to professional adults who will battle for the top awards.
Spectators are welcome to watch the dancing, which starts at 9.30am. There is more information on the Allana Brown School of Dancing Facebook page.
