Police in Fife are appealing for information after a woman found an intruder in her Dunfermline home.
The incident happened around noon on Saturday, March 31 at an address in Willowbank Brae.
The man is described as being around 5ft 9 inches tall, of stocky build with brown hair cut in a mod-style with a long fringe and sideburns.
He was wearing a yellow neon workman’s jacket and dark trousers.
Officers are now keen to hear from anyone who may have information that can assist them with their inquiries.
Detective Sergeant John Easton of Dunfermline CID said: “We are keen to hear from anyone who recognises the description of this man which is quite distinctive.
“Anyone with information can contact us via 101 or anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 quoting incident number 1442 of 8th April.”
