POLICE are appealing for information to trace a teenager reported missing in Dunfermline.

Aaron Hunter, 13, was last seen in Tweed Street, at around 6.50pm on Saturday but has not been in contact with family since then.

He is described as being 5ft 5in tall, very slim with a pale complexion and short light brown hair with a fringe.

Information released by police  said that Aaron was wearing black skinny jeans, a dark grey Adidas t-shirt, a blue and white Adidas zip-up hooded top and black trainers with red stripes when he was last seen.

Inspector Tony Rogers, of Dunfermline Police Station, said: “We believe that Aaron may be in Dunfermline, Inverkeithing or the surrounding area.

“Given his age we are growing increasingly concerned for his welfare and would urge anyone with information about his whereabouts to please let us know.

“Similarly, if Aaron himself sees this appeal we’d ask him to get in contact with either us or his family."

Anyone with information is asked to contact officers on 101, quoting incident number 3738 of 12th May.
