FAMILY fun and games was enjoyed as the sun shone on Blairhall Gala to help make it a blazing success.
The day started with the traditional crowning of gala queen Devin Connors before the royal party and the Comrie Community Pipe Band led the parade in their house-drawn carriage around the village.
An afternoon of fun was then on offer for all ages with a range of competitions, displays, races, funfair rides, stalls and inflatables.
Gala committee secretary Barbara Harris said: “It was brilliant and the weather was gorgeous. We had a novelty race where people dressed up in costumes and the kids had great fun.
