AN INVERKEITHING man drove dangerously, causing his car to overturn and end up in a field in West Fife.
He later caused a disturbance at the Victoria Hospital, Kirkcaldy.
William Briggs, 30, of Hillfield Crescent, Inverkeithing, appeared in the dock at Dunfermline Sheriff Court.
He admitted that on March 26 in Station Road and Clinkum Bank, near Oakley, he drove a car dangerously.
He drove at excessive speeds for the road conditions, failed to maintain adequate control of his vehicle, caused the vehicle to repeatedly overturn, left the roadway and came to rest in a field.
He also admitted that on the same day, at Victoria Hospital, Kirkcaldy, he behaved in a threatening or abusive manner by shouting, swearing and kicking a hospital bed.
Sheriff Chris Shead called for reports and imposed a temporary driving ban with immediate effect. Briggs will return to court to be sentenced on August 15.
