A DUNFERMLINE man has been jailed for an assault on a female which left her unconscious.
Christopher Morrey, 23, of Monastery Street, appeared from custody at Dunfermline Sheriff Court.
Morrey was previously found guilty of a charge of assault.
On January 3, at Monastery Street, he assaulted the victim by pushing her on the body and causing her to strike her head against a metal bannister whereby she was rendered unconscious.
Sheriff Charles MacNair jailed Morrey for six months.
