A DUNFERMLINE man made a short journey from his homeless hostel to steal from the Debenhams store.
Vincent Price Robertson, 54, was jailed for two months when he appeared from custody at Dunfermline Sheriff Court.
Robertson, of the James Bank Hostel, admitted that on June 14, at Debenhams, Kingsgate Centre, he stole a quantity of cosmetic products.
The court was told Robertson had been caught stealing aftershave valued at £37.91.
Defence solicitor Alexander Flett said his client had been struggling with heroin addiction at the time.
Sheriff Alison McKay imposed a two-month jail term.
