A NEW fitness studio has opened its doors in Dalgety Bay.

The final phase of refurbishment work has been completed at Dalgety Bay Leisure Centre as a new programme of activities and sessions becomes available.

Working with Fife Council, Fife Sports and Leisure Trust has transformed the centre’s gym, fitness and general purpose studios to give customers much-improved, bigger, dedicated spaces.

The completion of the second fitness studio will mean a much wider range of group fitness sessions and programmes being delivered by the trust for the local community.

Evelyn Crichton, health and fitness co-ordinator for Fife Sport and Leisure Trust, is delighted that the refurbishment is now complete.

She commented: “Thanks to the refurbishment works, we can offer local customers a great range of fitness classes to suit all abilities.

“We are introducing 16 new sessions, including the launch of Bounce, a mini trampoline class which is an energetic, fun class, as well as freestyle fitness yoga.

“We are very much looking forward to welcoming regular and new participants to the fitness programme – there really is something for everyone.”

The leisure centre on Harbour Drive is open seven days a week to the public.
