THERE’S a weekend of haunting Hallowe’en fun in Culross with a ‘Creepy Crawl’ event.

The spine-chilling entertainment, organised by the National Trust for Scotland, runs over Saturday 27 and Sunday October 28.

Families can have frightening fun and put on their bravest faces as they follow the spooky trails, solve puzzles and try out terrifying tasks, including apple dooking, grave grabbing and the enormous neep heap, before ‘guising’ to claim a delicious prize.

Clare Willis, marketing manager at the NTS, said: “We have some traditional, and not-so-traditional, spooky Hallowe’en challenges for them to try out, so it’s set to be a fang-tastic weekend.

“And they get to enjoy it all while exploring our beautiful heritage – and some of the most haunted places in Scotland!”

The Creepy Crawl is taking place at 15 NTS properties and is in partnership with oats company Stoats.

It’s on between 11am and 3pm on both days in Culross and tickets, for kids aged three and over, cost £4.

And it’s free for adults.

Children are encouraged to come along in fancy dress, with prizes for the best costumes.
