A PUNCH thrown outside a nightclub has cost a High Valleyfield teenager £650.
Reece Conners, 19, of Dunimarle Street, appeared in the dock at Dunfermline Sheriff Court.
He admitted that on March 25 at St Margaret’s Street, Dunfermline, he assaulted a man by punching him on the head to his injury.
Depute fiscal Alistair McDermid said: “This incident arises out of a night out at Lourenzo’s nightclub. The incident occurred outside the nightclub at around 4.15am.”
There was a confrontation between the two males and Conners threw a punch, striking the victim on the face as he stood at the door of the Khushi’s restaurant.
Defence solicitor Peter Robertson said his client had no previous convictions and asked for the offence to be dealt with as “an aberration on his part”.
Sheriff Craig McSherry fined Conners £400 and ordered him to pay £250 compensation.
