AN OAKLEY man has been sentenced for downloading an image of extreme pornography.

The image was of a dog and a woman “engaging in sexual activity”.

Craig Wilson, 48, of Blairwood Terrace, Oakley, appeared in the dock at Dunfermline Sheriff Court.

He previously admitted that between July 9, 2014, and March 23, 2016, he was in possession of extreme pornographic images depicting sexual activity between female adults and animals.

Depute fiscal Alex Kirk said that the charge involved 13 images which had been on the Google chrome browser on the accused’s device but there was only a thumb-cache for one of them.

She added: “It is an image of an adult female and a dog engaging in sexual activity,” said the depute.

The court was told Wilson was a first offender and had been “curious”, which led to him looking at the image.

Sheriff MacNair fined Wilson £540. He was not placed on the sex offenders’ register.
