Dunfermline's first ever Santa Dash caused quite a stir on the High Street on Saturday!
Shoppers were taken by surprise as a crowd of Father Christmases ran down from the New Row to the Glen Gates as a novel curtain-raiser for the switch-on of the town's Christmas lights.
Organised by Dunfermline's Rotary Club and supported by Dunfermline Delivers, the event raised money for local good causes.
Graham Steedman, Rotary community convener, said: "The shoppers were taking by surprise a bit there I think!"
Check out our photos of the Santa Dash in this week's Press, out on Thursday.
