TWO men have been arrested and charged after drugs with an estimated street value of £70,000 were recovered near Saline.
Police officers, acting on information received by the public, executed a search warrant at an address near Steelend on Tuesday and around 250 cannabis plants were found in an outside shed.
A 23-year-old and a 29-year-old were arrested and charged and appeared at Dunfermline Sheriff Court yesterday (Wednesday).
Detective Sergeant Neil McGurk, from the Community Investigation Unit, said: "Under Operation Prospect, we continue to work hard to tackle drug crime and remove such harmful substances from our communities.
"Drugs and associated criminality can blight communities, and I would like to thank the public who continue to assist us in tackling this issue.
"Anyone with concerns or information regarding drug crime in their area can report this to Police Scotland on 101, or through Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."
