A MAN has appeared in court over indecent images of children found following a raid on his home.
John Oates, 53, of Beech Cottage, Donibristle, Cowdenbeath, appeared in the dock of Dunfermline Sheriff Court.
He admitted that between March 23 last year and February 20, he downloaded indecent photographs of children.
Depute fiscal Azrah Yousaf told the court that police were granted and executed a search warrant at Oates’ home after receiving information.
Devices were removed and were found to have indecent images and videos including in the most serious category.
Sheriff Chris Shead called for reports and Oates will be sentenced on January 9. Oates was placed on the sex offenders’ register.
