WEST FIFE drivers could be filling up at a new petrol station if Fife Council gives the green light to a planning application.
Asda has applied for permission to put in a two-pump station and make alterations to the car park at its Dalgety Bay store.
A report for planners said the company wanted to incorporate a petrol facility at the site to improve the customer offer.
It added: "The proposed development comprises a two-pump (four-filling position PFS) which would be located in the northern corner of the car park, between Ridge Way to the west, Fulmar Way to the north and the internal access road to the south and east.
"The 247-space car park would be slightly reconfigured under the proposals, resulting in the loss of 19 parking spaces, bringing the overall capacity down to 228 spaces."
