A ROLEX watch worth £2,000 has been stolen in a break-in at a home in Duloch.

Police in Dunfermline are appealing for witnesses following the raid some time during the afternoon, or early evening, of Tuesday, December 11 at an address in Edzell Way.

After entry was forced to the property various electrical items were stolen along with the watch and a quantity of Euros.

Inquiries are ongoing to trace those responsible and anyone with information is asked to come forward.

Detective Constable Eddy McKnight, from Dunfermline CID, said: "The homeowners are utterly devastated at the theft of their possessions and we are following a number of lines of inquiry within the local area to identify the culprits and return the stolen goods.

"If you believe you saw any suspicious activity within Edzell Way during the afternoon and early evening of Tuesday, 11th December, then please contact us immediately.

"Similarly, we'd also be keen to hear from anyone who can provide any other information relevant to this investigation."
