A DUNFERMLINE store worker was attacked by a woman after he accused her of shoplifting.
Leanne Ward, 28, currently in jail, appeared at Dunfermline Sheriff Court.
She admitted that on September 20, at Douglas Street, Dunfermline, she assaulted the assistant by kicking him on the body and punching him on the head.
The shop worker suspected Ward may have taken items without paying and followed her outside.
When challenged to hand over these items, Ward kicked the store worker on the leg and punched him on the head.
Sheriff Alison McKay jailed Ward for two months. She is already in prison for an offence where she persuaded a 15-year-old girl to take Methadone in a bid to con drug addiction services and social workers into thinking she had stopped taking heroin.
She was jailed for 22 months and two weeks for that offence in October.
