AUDIENCE and cast members were left surprised last week as a fairytale marriage proposal unfolded on stage.
Kamen Brown popped the question to Alanna Paterson at the Alhambra Theatre on Friday night.
Kamen walked on stage to propose to Alanna, dance captain and choreographer of the theatre's Christmas panto, Sleeping Beauty.
The pair met last year when they were both in the dance troop of Jack and the Beanstalk.
Claire Fletcher, PR manager for the Alhambra, commented: "What a special moment on stage for this lovely couple, who met in the Alhambra. We are all thrilled and wish Kamen and Alanna all the very best for the future.
"We look forward to the fairytale wedding."
Sleeping Beauty runs at the theatre until Saturday with tickets available online via the venue's website and ticketmaster.
