West Fifer's have endured another morning of delays and cancellations despite ScotRail reportedly promising that there would be zero cancellations by January 7.
There were two cancellations on the Fife Circle line at peak time because "train crew had been delayed".
The 10.04 from Dunfermline into Edinburgh has also just been cancelled because of a late running train in front.
There were also a multitude of delays particularly on the Aberdour/Dalgety Bay part of the line, all due to a "shortage of train crew".
ScotRail Alliance boss Alex Hynes reportedly told MP for Kirkcaldy and Cowdenbeath, Lesley Laird, that the train company were aiming to restore Fife Circle services by today (Monday, January 7), when the majority of West Fifers would return back to work after the festive period.
Lesley said: "ScotRail believes Fife passengers will see a steady reduction in cancellations over the coming days and aims to achieve zero cancellations by January 7."
