A DUNFERMLINE teenager has admitted attacking his pregnant girlfriend by kicking and punching her.
The assault was carried out by Reigh Braidwood, 19, of Shields Road, who appeared from custody at Dunfermline Sheriff Court.
He admitted a string of offences involving his partner and committed on May 20 at Ogilvie Street, Dundee.
Braidwood behaved in a threatening or abusive manner by shouting, swearing and repeatedly making abusive remarks towards his then partner, who was pregnant.
He then assaulted her by kicking her on the head and body, and also threw a remote control at her.
Braidwood also admitted that having been granted bail at Dunfermline Sheriff Court on August 3 not to contact the victim, he breached this condition on September 12 by sending social media messages.
He is currently in custody in respect of other allegations.
Sheriff Charles MacNair called for reports and Braidwood will be sentenced on February 6.
